Lukas Smits (1935) is a Dutch painter who makes art in little booklets (A4 and A5). Each booklet has its own tonality and theme, and tells a different, unique story. Together, all the booklets form a series. I was asked by Lukas to transform his booklet Les Bordures (the borders) into an animation, without losing the experience of physically turning the pages of the booklet.
